Brief History
Perikles Katsaros and his
family welcome new and old friends to Nikolas Taverna, one of the
best loved and most frequented tavernas in Corfu.
We thought that you might be interested in learning something
about the history of the taverna and the family.
Perikles and his
family opened Kalami Tourist Services in 1986 as an information and
exchange centre. Being the only office of its kind in the area, it
served a need for tourists visiting the bay. Over the years the
services it offers have been extended to include: day trips to and
from Kassiopi and boat trips around Corfu. Quality accommodation
owned by Perikles' family is offered in Kalami and the surrouding
areas.

Barbara and Alan’s comments about the wedding:
“Barbara & Alan
would like to express their gratitude to Perikles and family for all
their help in organising their wedding in Kalami on October 4th
2006. Our thanks go to Joanna & Rania at Kalami Tourist Services for
their friendly & relaxed skills in arranging flowers, cake,
hairdresser, transport etc. To Perikles a big thank you for liaising
with the town hall in fine tuning the wedding arrangements and last
but not least to Voula and all the staff at the Nikolas Taverna for
providing us with a night we will never forget. The food, as always,
was excellent. The cake was lovely and we must mention Apostolis &
Cristos who looked after us all & made sure our glasses were never
empty! For all our guests it was a most memorable occasion which was
rounded off by our boat trip back to Kalami with Yianni -- with
horns blaring & music playing!
For anyone thinking of a wedding in Corfu........go for it. Perikles
and family are the one's to contact!”

Dear friends,
Another
season has come to it’s end, and Nikolas Taverna – Perikles
Katsaros, his family and all the staff, want to thank you all very
much for your trust that you show for “taverna Nikolas” all
these years, and for giving us the opportunity to make your holidays
better and more tasteful!!
We promise you, that we will keep giving the best of
ourselves to make your holidays better!!
We also want to thank you for the great success that
for one more season you gave to our “Greek
night”.
We would like to inform all our customers once again
that we will be in contact with everyone throughout the winter and
you can book through e-mail your holidays and your “Greek night”
table for 2007!
We
will be happy to hear from you during winter!
